1、挖溝時施工人員之間應保持3~5m的距離。在有地下光、電纜和管路的地方挖溝、坑時，應了解地下設施的用途、埋設位置，并與有關部門聯系，做好防護后再施工。

It is necessary to keep a distance of 3 to 5 meters from the place where excavation is performed. When trench in the places where there are underground optical cables, electrical cables and pipes, it is necessary to understand the purpose and location of the underground facilities, contact with the relevant departments, and carry out good protection before construction.

2、當挖溝、坑影響行人妨礙交通或站內作業時，應在施工地點3~5m處加設防護，并應當天回填夯實。如需過夜時，需搭人行便橋、通車便道，并設防護欄和警示燈，必要時應派專人監守。在有倒塌危險的房屋、圍墻附近開挖時應對其臨時加固。

3、嚴禁在影響路基穩定的范圍內挖溝、坑，在鐵路沿線或穿越鐵路挖溝、坑時，擺放的料具和挖出的土石嚴禁侵入基本建筑限界，并應采取防止塌落的措施。

It is prohibited to trench within the area which would impact stability of roadbed. When trench along the railway or crossing the railway, related materials, tools, excavated earth and rock are not allowed to put into the construction boundary and measures should be taken to prevent collapse.

4、電纜、光纜敷設需通過鐵路、公路、繁忙車道時開挖時間盡量選擇在車輛最低峰進行，并應采取安全防護措施。

If optical and electrical cable have to across the rail, road, and busy lane, try to avoid rush hours and should take safety measures.

5、挖溝、坑的棄土應距溝、坑邊0.4m以外。堆土高度不應高于1.5m。

Trench spoil pit should be placed away from the trench by at least 0.4 meter with a height of less than 1.5m.

6、在土質松軟地帶挖溝、坑時應按斜坡形開挖，坡度的大小應根據土壤的性質、濕度及坑深確定，宜符合下表的規定：

7、挖水溝、坑及流沙溝、坑時應采用防護板或沉箱等加固措施。

Digging ditches, pits and sandy ditch, pit, reinforcement measures like protection shield or caisson should be taken.

8、防護板的安裝或撤除應有人監護。嚴禁將防護板一次全部撤除。強流沙地帶不宜撤防護板。

Installation or removal of protection shield should be guarded. It is prohibited to remove all of the protective shields at one time. It is not good to remove protective shield in heavy quicksand areas.

9、在架空線路附近開挖溝槽時，應防止架空線路的桿塔傾斜、懸倒。

When perform trench excavation in the vicinity of overhead lines, pay attention to prevent slant and hanging down of pole and tower for overhead lines.

10、坑底面積小于1.5m²時，坑內不得有兩人及以上人員同時作業。溝、坑深大于1m時，不得一人單獨作業。

If bottom area is less than 1.5m2, only one person can work in it. When the depth of trench and pit depth is more than 1 meter, a person cannot work alone.

11、當發生挖壞光、電纜及其它管路事故后，施工負責人應立即通知項目負責人，并同時與設備管理單位聯系，確定接續、搶修辦法。 If break optical, electrical cable and other pipeline when trench, the person in charge of construction shall immediately notify project responsible person, and simultaneously contact the device management unit to determine the splicing and repair method.

12、施工負責人根據搶修原則立即做出決定，如項目部搶修人員在設備管理人員到來之前能夠完成搶修工作的，可根據情況提前進行搶修；不能搶修的可派人員配合設備管理單位人員進行搶修。

The person in charge of construction shall immediately make a decision in accordance with repair principles. If the repair personnel of the Project Office can complete the repair work prior to the arrival of equipment management personnel, then they can carry out repairs in advance according to the situation; if the repair personnel of the Project Office cannot complete the repair, the Project Office may send personnel to cooperate with the equipment management unit personnel to repair.

14、在兩線間挖溝時，事先在開挖溝兩側鋪上塑料布，開挖土放在塑料布上，避免污染石砟。同時如在調車密集地方開挖溝時，要設專人防護員防護，施工人員嚴禁（坐、臥、躺）等鋼軌上，堅決執行，行車不施工，施工不行車規定。

When excavate between two lines, put plastic sheeting on both sides of excavation area in advance. Put excavated soil on plastic sheeting to avoid contamination of ballast layer. Besides, if excavate in area where there is intensive shunting, it is necessary to allocate guard to protect it. Construction workers are prohibited to sit and lie on the rail. Resolutely implement the rule of no construction when train works and no train working when construction is performed.

15、在超過垂直高度6米護坡路肩上挖溝時，事先把塑料布鋪在開挖溝兩側，開挖土放在塑料布上，嚴禁亂扔開挖土，避免污染石砟。路肩旁要設專職安全員，施工人員嚴禁坐在路肩側（坐、臥、躺）等違規行為。

When excavate in slope road shoulder of vertical height more than 6 meters, place plastic sheeting on both sides of excavation area in advance. Put excavated soil on plastic sheeting instead of throwing away to avoid contamination of ballast layer. Allocate a full-time security staff along the shoulder in case of any emergency. Construction workers are prohibited to sit and lie on the road shoulder side.
